Online input lag (delay)
Did anybody encounter nasty input lag / delay during online playing? Juggling is very hard to do with this half-second delay. Are there any ways to reduce it or completely eliminate it?

Actually i set the lowest possible graphical settings (640x480, no vsync, default textures, etc) in online and lag became much less evident. The same should do the people you play with.

A dude i used to play coop uses xpadder to map his controller and he never complained about having lag. May be that it actually solves the issue, or he just has a different perception, i can't tell for sure.

Everything okay in a single player mode, but not in online. I use XBOX360 controller so i dunno about it.

Hi All,

Excessive framerate issues in multiplayer are generally caused by one or more players having the game's resolution set higher than their system can properly support.

To troubleshoot, ask all players in the match to lower their resolution to 800x600 while in game. This should relieve all framerate issues.

After all resolutions have been lowered, users should individually raise their resolutions, one by one.

Play a bit to see if the slowdown returns, then move on to the next player and have them repeat the same steps. If the framerate issues return, you have discovered which user is causing the problem. Experiment with different resolutions, to determine what settings the user needs to use for all players to experience optimum gameplay.

If this doesn't fix the issue, please head over to {LINK REMOVED} and create a support ticket so that we can troubleshoot with you further.

Thanks!

Thank you for you reply, Ryan, but I still have input lag but reduced to a certain degree on the low settings. It's still visible. I'm so waiting for patch or fix or something.

Did you have the other players in the multiplayer game reduce their settings as well? If their settings are too high (resolution and VSync specifically) you will experience lag, even if your settings are good.
