Orange princess is dead theory -

I've been playing the game for some years now, and I've noticed a few things that could mean that she's dead / replaced.

For starters, she never moves again, after the barbarian boss fight. (She's crying standing up at the industrial castle, Thanks Unnoticable.)

She's constantly being dragged on her face, possibly being a cause of death.

She's seen being carried by the painter boss, who has paintings of her laying face down with a knife in her back in the background.

One of the painter bosses paintings is a clown.

So I think the painter boss killed her, and put a painting of a clown in her dress, possibly painting a clown in her dress.

Or he was carrying her lifeless body with him, then made the painting of the clown in a dress.

I do believe this theory, and have been trying to convince everyone. I dont feel theres any other possibility. It is dark that you go through the trouble for a body and an imposter, but atleast it gives you a little chance that she is alive until the end. Just a thought, but why would they carry around a body the whole time? I still dont understand this.

Makes a lot of sense because at the boss battle with viking boss it seems like she is suffocating. And than she doesn´t move so yeah makes sense.

she could be the court jester and there never was a princess or she is a clown/became one when they broke her face lol. I still feel it more lighthearted and isnt that grim.

in the beginning of industrial castle you see her standing next to the boss on the second floor when hes saying "you arent beefy enough to break this door!"

where did you got that from ? And even on the collectible cards it says clown princess.

Well everyone at the end seems to be chilling together. I mean you see baddies from all around the map at the end just chilling. So whats to stop one of the painters creations deciding on its own free will after the necromancer is killed that it wants to be part of the party
