Magic is bad?
So, is there any way to make using magic easier on a keyboard? Cause holding down one button just to use a spell is really annoying, especially when playing the green knight, which is recommended to go magic, I think?

I feel lost as no matter what I try, the enemies combo me before I can even hit them most of the time, so how the hell does this even work? D;

Make your block and your magic key the same. Therefore when you are about to do a magic attack you'll be blocking at the same time so there won't be any interruptions. Of course you won't be blocking anymore once your spell is activated, you can block once again when your spell is done. I recommend Blue or Red Knight for magic, the Blue Knight does ice magic so when you hit an enemy it immobilizes them in a block of ice for a small period of time but you may prepare another combo or attack them while they are frozen. The red knight on the other hand does constant lightning damage which amounts to a huge amount of damage on the enemy I usually use it to sometimes burst down bosses.

Huh, I never thought about binding the two together like that. It just might work! I only went with the Green as it was what it gave me to start with. Never played the game beforehand, thus I had no idea what I was in for. Thanks for the idea, I'll try it out later today!

The next time I am up for it, I shall. For now though, the damn furball at the entrance of the forest has me aggrivated to the point that I would destroy my keyboard if I had to face it again today.

He's actually quite easy to beat and a good exp farm. I have problems with him though on insane mode.

Any tips? I feel quite dumb as it felt like the game was telling me to use magic, what with the bar having an eerie blue glow to it, thus my points are in there already. I'd rather not start a new knight all over again, but I feel I may have to at this point.

For the troll boss or as you may call "furball" I wouldn't really recommend magic or agility/archer types. I recommend using Tanky DPS characters. I built my character with Strength with Defense kind of like a bruiser you could say. I put the Strength ahead of the Defense and I added a few agility points for my mobility. Therefore I could do massive attacks and not die since I have strong sustain with my defense. I would recommend for a mage thought to use their melee weapon and hit the boss back and forth with air combos (jump attacks). And bring health potions because you're going to need it, 1 bar of health for a boss in the average level wouldn't be sufficient to take down the boss (unless of course you're in a party).

If the programming for keyboard controls would respond properly, air combos wouldn't be so annoying to land. x-x And its not really the boss that's the issue, it's the damn spawns that deal like 15+ damage each attack, which leads to them ganging up after the boss is down to half health.

The reason for that is because on a controller, the power-up (hold down) button is separate from the magic action button. The game isn't lying when it tells you it is easier to play with a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard. I would assume changing your key controls would help like making the power-up and magic key the same, or use two keys that are side-by-side.

Since I am quite stuck on the same boss you're on in insane mode I am just re-doing the mission over and over again. I am trying to get as much exp as possible to level to a level that I could actually beat him on.

It really does just depend on what boss you're going against. Some bosses I would recommend using knights with a strength/defense based build or some other bosses I would recommend using magic based builds because you're most likely going to need to keep your distance.

Power-up? I don't even know what that is... And honestly, if you release a game for or on the PC, it should always be KM friendly, as not everyone can afford a controller nor wants to use one. It really is sad that PC gaming is mostly becoming Xbone/P$ these days.
Any tactic is good as long as it doesn't involve upgrading strength. I speak from 2 years of experience and counting
