So.... this game or Battleblock Theater?

I am interested in both but can only buy 1, and also, I want to play solo (even though none of my friends have it). I know they are different genres but I want your opinions on which is the best of their type (I don´t prefer any of these genres over the other).

Castle Crashers, no doubt. Battleblock Theatre isn't half the game.

BBT for sure. if u have a friend to play localy or online, it is way better than this.

i like both, but castle crashers when you do solo.

BBT is more of a glorified platformer, not really interesting especially by yourself. Castle crashers has so much more content and things to do, even if the story is a bit simplistic.

Dunno. I find BBT way more replayable than CC.

I guess it's about personal taste, but CC became boring to me after completing the story. Yes you can level all character up in insane mode but... why? That's just mindless grinding.

Imho BBT with steam workshop support and bottomfur features has better longevity.

Admittedly CC has prettier art though (BBT being "blocky" by design).

Also CC is not on linux so it's kind of hard to play it anymore. :D
