What will happen with our characters' levels when the Painter Boss Paradise DLC arrives?

Basically my friend was worried about what will happen to our characters' levels when this DLC arrive, cuz he thinks that maybe our characs' levels won't update with the new features, so basically he means that we would need to re-play with our owned characters again cuz they're would be level 1 on the Fresh* mode. (I disagree with him, but that's a question anyway)

That never happened with the prior DLCs and it will not happen with this one. Tell your friend it's going to be fine. The only thing that will change is your ability to make new characters.
