Quick question revolving "the traitor" achievement.

I'm playing through the game, without "the traitor" as an unlocked achievement. I was playing as the skeleton, and beat the cyclops. Is there any reason behind as to why I got the traitor for it? Shouldn't I have to beat the Necromancer instead?

I know this much. I actually GOT the achievement by defeating Cyclops as skeleton. I was wondering the reason behind this, as Necromancer summons the skeletons, and cyclops seems completely arbitrary.

It makes sense you're a "traitor" for beating any of the bosses while playing as any one of the underlings. I imagine it's also easier and less confusing to do it this way as opposed to coding it so that only specific underlings defeating specific bosses will unlock the achievement.

I know that as a cultist you only get it when you beat the final boss (as that's what I did on Xbox, and had another account of which I beat Barbarian Boss as Barbarian to unlock the achievement.) I also would like to point out this was a 100% solo playthrough, so I had already beat all of the previous bosses, and the next two were Necromancer and the finale. I am 100% certain that I had not gotten the achievement before, and that I had not passed the Necromancer afterwards. I saw it appear on my HUD after defeating the Cyclops.
