Friend used a hack without me knowing, will I get vac banned the next time I play online?

Hey, someone I know used the program cheat engine to level up the peasant to 95. I don't fully understand cheat engine and how it works, but it must've changed a script in the game to make it that every time I hit someone the character (peasant) levels up. I've closed both programs and reopened CC before saving so that he doesn't save at lvl 99 (I don't want him so high). How can I get the guy to stop leveling up???????

EDIT: the peasant autosaved at lvl 99 and cannot level up further :( Now I don't know if each hit is still giving him millions of exp, and whether it'll get me banned online.

You can't get a VAC ban in Castle Crashers so there is not much to worry about.

Oh really? Thanks so much. I was worried. Still sucks that I can't level the peasant up legitimately now though :\ I was going to play him next after finishing insane with green... oh well

You could completely reset him. And I don't think you can level him down with cheat engine again.

You will reset all your progress of the character but you will keep your weapons etc.
Be warned to not accidentaly delete your complete save instead of just the character save.

You can't get a VAC ban, but there are such a thing as "Game Bans".
Idk if you'll get one, but just know that there are 2 bans. VAC and Game. Both show up on your profile.
I also don't know the difference, but.. yeah, just a heads-up.

my friend used cheat engine and keep bragging cuz i was doing it legit and i was only lvl 10 and he was lvl 99 on everything

I couldn't get my character to stop leveling up everytime I hit some, but I went online anyway. Nothing seemed to happen... yet. I think it's safe though? I hope so.

just search google, It'll probably be the first result. It uses cheat engine, which is a pretty useful program.

Its cheat engine. i have it its very useful just go to www .cheatengine. org be careful when installing or it can install unwanted stuff but its like a normal installer if you still dont feel safe installing it skype me : iceat7204 ill show you

You can just look at tutorials on youtube and the cheat engine forum but i really suggest you not to level up your character because it destroys the fun of the game,you will have fun for like 20min and then not anymore.

When you only use cheat engine in offline games there isn't much to worry about. I would still suggest you not to use it.
You could download it from the offial site (or chip.de) when you are worrying about viruses (at least I haven't gotten any from it and I don't know anybody who did).
