any concerns for the dlc
if you have any thoughts or concerns feel free to post them here.

ill start off with how much we can customize our characters.
because worst case scenario you'll be limited with how much you can customize your character. even with fully body customization who knows how much we can actually do with it.

i hope custom characters can be used online, but if that's the case a concern i have is if custom characters can have custom attacks and magic that the game would become super unbalanced. i hope each individual player online can turn on the classic or new look for themselves. i hope that the gameplay remains (at least mostly) untouched (aside from the new character). i hope the workshop includes modding sounds and music. i hope the main menu gets a cool new look. i hope as a surprise the old console exclusive minigames will come back (they've already been ported with mods anyway).

The announcement post on steam says "Choose your magic", so I'm guessing you just pick the magic from an existing knight. It looks like there will also not be any custom attacks, due to the arms and legs being taken from an existing knight as well.

that's what i'm hoping/expecting. if all the workshop stuff is just visual/audio then everything will be chill.

pricing, I have a feeling its gonna end up being like 15 dollars, and maybe less customization features than i'd hope

wishful thinking considering what you said, but i hope that we can atleast reskin the magic type

The Steam workshop stuff won't be available on consoles, and I think that's a bit sad for them. Behemoth should host an original character contest once the DLC releases, and officially add the winners to the game in an update, and include them in a console release for the DLC!

My concern is it's going to be too good

if we only can change visual stuff then im dissapointed about the workshop addition, i hope we will be able to make fully custom characters in every aspect, like in rivals of aether with its custom charecters.

I just hope they fix some of the old jank, like not having borderless fullscreen, and PS4 layout support.

honestly something i dont think many people mentioned is custom magic sprites. im fine with only being able to use the magic of existing knights but it would be cool if you can customize the sprites for them however.

Reckerless did an interview with Dan Paladin. And from what I can remember, there's not gonna be custom magic.( Unless they change their minds.)But you can pick from any preexisting ones.Regardless of what they end up doing, this dlc is gonna be a blast.

My biggest concern is the ability of changing your magic colors, I don't mind custom magic being out of the picture, but color options would be a good enough alternative

If the host has the dlc, all players in the lobby will have the fresh art style, and be able to use any custom characters that the host has. (as long as the host has the dlc enabled)

The devs were thinking that if they allowed people to choose each individual magic attack, people would always go sawblade splash magic, so they likely won't let you do that kind of custom magic, but there's still a possibility.
