no sound in my game

i have downloaded a mod and i thought that was the problem, i then got rid of the mod and it still dosent have sound , i have checked to see if my speakers that i use are default and they are, i can hear anyother sound like from opra gx but it dosent work for castle crasher. I also dont know if it works for any steam game but plz help i want to play castle crashers.

Are you using a wireless Bluetooth set up (speaker or headphones)?

If you are using a Bluetooth wireless audio set up we've had reports that your problem can happen when using certain Bluetooth devices.
But we currently have a workaround:
1. Right click the little speaker in the lower right corner of Windows
2. Select "Sounds"
3. Select the "Playback" tab
4. There should be a device that says "Hands-free" in your list, right click it and set it to "Disabled"
5. Try to boot the game again
We will be working on a permanent fix for this, but for the time being, I'm afraid you'd have to use the workaround.
If this is not the issue you are experiencing, please let us know and we can continue the troubleshooting.
