Who are Stove Faces?

Can we talk about this mysterios knights from Full Moon?
I wanna hear some theories and lore about them

Which enemy fraction do they belong to and who their boss might be?

Stove Faces are the only enemies that doesn't spawn or have dead bodies of them in Necromance fight. Except for Cultists, but considering they're literly killed minutes ago before final bosses - there wouldn't be time for Necromancer to move cultist's bodies to his chamber. But why Necromancer didn't take Stove Faces bodies? He did took Icekimos though.

There is rusted entrances in Full Moon that leads to entrance to mountain cave system to unknown location.

I mean, you can BARELY juggle them, who wants to bring all those heavy armored bodies for miles.

Same can be said for royal guards, coneheads and brutes. So not really

i heard someone theorize/headcanon that they are some kind of guardians of the mountain. maybe they're guards for the snow village? or maybe the snow village and the Stovefaces are simply allies considering they fight together. (albeit in only one screen)
