Can you play with keyboard and mouse?

i have some 3rd party ps4 controllers and original xbox 360 (wired) controller but i was wondering which option is the best and if castle crashers can be finished and played properly with just keyboard and mouse, thx!

I've played over 2000 hours on keyboard and it's pretty good.
Don't use mouse at all, that's a bad idea. If you are right handed, it's pretty good ro use arrow keys for movemend and D W for light and heavy attack respectively. If you are left-handed - use left and up arrows for attacks, right arrow for item and down arrow I don't remember what, maybe like shield or something.

Tyvm i was wondering cuz 2d platformers are a nightmare with keyboard and mouse, but this isn't a 2d platformer, its a beat em up so yea ill give it a try thx!!

keyboard pretty much superior choise. It's easier to do light + heavy combos with it.

The only thing keyboard can't do - is activate walking mode. Not really that important.

walking mode is detrimental to everything. I've never heard of walking mode being useful for anything ever. it's better to not have it so you don't do it on accident
