I found that being on the ground as little as possible was key to survival. Please explain your strategy more, as I haven't seen any reference to it elsewhere.
There's a limit to how much adds there are on the screen, so sweeping them up with juggles and dumping them on one side will open up opportunities for getting hits in.
If there's a ton of enemies around, ALWAYS block upon landing and use RXA to knocked them down and give yourself some horizontal movement (XA has higher momentum than just A/RA)
