If you know how to juggle without memorizing combos and instead relying on the moves themselves to pull it off (which is similar to the combos, really.), green knight is just as well equipped as any other character.
He's great in vanilla and early insane, great damage, he can still do infinite juggles, but in insane where dispatching enemies quickly and crowd control are essential (mainly in beefy room in Marsh and Necromancer fight), his juggles are too ineffective and it's glaring weakness that no other class has.
That's why finishing solo with GK is so rewarding, as opposed to RY spamming with the Industrial/Fencer.
