You shouldn't get a Vac Ban for cheating as long as you don't connect to any Vac secured servers. Castle Crashers, from my knowledge at least, isn't protected by Vac nor does it have an anti-cheat set up.

At best its frowned upon, the only place I know of where cheating is illegal is South Korea and I think that's only for boosting and/or game hacks. If you're going to cheat though make sure you deactivate and close the program when done, possibly even restarting your pc. (If you plan on opening another game) A general rule of thumb is if it's a single player game it generally isn't protected by an anti-cheat, on the store page it will say if it's protected by VAC, and in the installation it will probably install a different one(if it does have one), such as Easy Anti-Cheat.

cheating is fine in single player, if done while in a multiplayer game the game may desync and you may like swap stats or something

ur not gonna ge tbanned btw lol, someone from the castle crashers wiki discord server interviewed dan paladin and he said he doesnt care if you cheat in castle crashers or mod it
