I really really REALLY wish the ending was different

I remember playing this game so long ago back on the 360. Going through the final battles with the necromancer and the dark wizard which are amazing. Then the ending happens.

I know its newgrounds, but that ending. was so bad and unfunny and anticlimactic. I never even looked at fulp's other games again after that. it was so disappointing its impressive actually. I never really completed the game either, just unlocked a few more characters then dropped it because i knew it was there and i just didnt want to get hyped by the finale just to get tortured by it again.

I thought the credits scene was pretty epic so I didn't really care to kiss that princess, the princess in green/wedding dress being my preferred anyways.

the ending is we beat evil wizzard, saved princess and return back home castle on giant crystal while credits rolling. The party scene is just aftermath, doesn't really matter.

If you pay attention to what happens during the campaing you would realise what the true ending is. As the orange princes stops moving after a while and when you fight the painter boss you can see several painting about the orange princess dead with a dagger in her back. She was killed and the painter replaced her with one of his paintings who is a clown. During the boss fight one of the many enemies is a clown. This game has a very dark ending, but it is well hidden as many children plays this game. It is the same when kid movies are full of sex jokes that they do not udnerstand, they were only put in for the adults to do not ger bored to death during the watch.So over all you go through all of this trouble with your quest to save the princesses and in the end you let the orange princess die as you were too slow to save her and you fail.

and i would still say that the ending sux. If this was the more apparent ending, it would be slightly better rather than the leet interwebz humor scene.

To have your entire quest build up to, u were too slow princess dead the end, its still a ♥♥♥♥♥ ending.

Now that I know what the ending means, I understand how it fits. if it were in a little different context the end story would make more sense. and since this is a kids game most of the actual story: racing to save all the princesses but ultimately failing on one, is just hinted at and if it were remade to actually include a lot more of this story and more emotion and for me, a little more emphasis on what the painter is. you literally see him in one level. And since this has a childrens audience I suppose when you finally kiss the fake princess to have a clown burst out and dance would have the kids cracking up. The ending fits, but its not really explained.

i really wouldnt say this is a kids game given the amount of gore and violence in it. Might as well say killing floor is a kids game.

Ur wrong because here is the real point... u fight to the death and win all of the first 3 princesses cause ur better than ur friend... then u give them a pity princess when its all over... and OOF the biggest troll.... on ur best bud, at the end of a really fun joureny.... then u flew through the sky and recall all the fun X) ur so wrong... thats how its meant to be enjoyed dawg
