Red Knight isn't OP.
He's definitely top 10. But sawblades, fire, and ice all provide more utility that ultimately gets you further on insane mode.

Exactly, i'm glad someone else understands that red knight is more limited than the others, with his abilities. He's seriously overrated

Red Knight certainly has a very appealing niche to people who struggle with juggling. Sawblades and fire just knock stuff around, and ice is really only good for stunlocking people with XXXYY. If you can't juggle, I'd say being able to stunlock any kind of non-boss enemy and deal a decent chunk of damage would be a pretty powerful tool to have.
Y'know, what they call OP.

I do agree he's overrated though.
If you *can* juggle, Red Knight isn't helpful. Juggling stunlocks pretty much any kind of non-boss enemy and does a bigger chunk of damage than his magic would.
Of course, I'd argue every character is overrated.
The same logic of 'juggling is better' applies to fire, ice, sawblades, and any other magic in the game. Juggling or melee combos will dispatch whatever it is faster and more safely in most cases.
At a character's best, you can cheese heavy enemies (Ice magic or Tornado) or bosses (sawblades) at a faster rate.

tier lists are for pvp not pve, red knight is busted in duels

Oh. No. Red knight aint a PVP guru. His splash magic takes a sec to recover and it doesn't hit aerial targets. At a low level it may help a lot, but try that on any seasoned PVPer and you're gonna get one hit combo'd into oblivion.

Red knight is OP in both boss slaying and an insane crowd control.
You underastimating his power of holding splash attack that stunlock and deal damage at same time. And if you get caught (unless you don't have rammy) in pvp, prepare to lose between 40-60% of your health

2nd best boss slaying magic, 1st best magic against smaller enemies.

I'm not saying getting caught in it won't make you lose 40-60% of your health. I'm saying if you go against anyone who enjoys PVP then you won't ever hit them with it. It's slow and doesn't hit aerial targets, which coincidentally are the exact kind of targets experienced PVPers are.
I imagine good PVPers view getting caught by a red knight's splash akin to getting knifed in csgo.
You can and will melt some inexperienced people with it though.

I agree it's pretty powerful for PVE. Melee is better, but the magic is extremely easy to use for how effective it is.

Lol red Knight is one of the worst boss slayers because of the low damage per hit. I calculated it with some other top players like aicho and flamming fire. You're better off using arrow rain.

Fencer industrialist fire demon Orange knight blue knight and iceskimo have better and safer crowd control for insane mode. Fencer and industrialist can make themselves invincible to melee if used the right way.

And your argument about him actually being op is only applicable for people with less than 10 hours in the game. If you spend any amount of time in the community finding strategies and stuff, your top 10 will change over time.

Current community made tier list:
*1: Fencer/Industrialist (183 points)
*2: Fire Demon (169 points)
*3: Blue Knight (158 points)
*4: Orange Knight (155 points)
*5: Red Knight (153 points)
*6: Iceskimo (145 points)
*7: Royal Guard/Conehead (131 points)
*8: Pink Knight (126 points)
*9: Brute/Snakey (125 points)
*10: Gray Knight (121 points)
*11: Ninja (115 points)
*12: Skeleton/Cultist (92 points)
*13: Necromancer (84 points)
*14: Barbarian (79 points)
*15: Bear (70 points)
*16: Saracen (62 points)
*17: Beekeeper (54 points)
*18: Peasant/Civilian/Stoveface/Open Faced Gray Knight/Thief (49 points)
*19: Alien (42 points)
*20: King (32 points)
*21: Hatty (26 points)
*22: Green Knight (24 points)
*23: Blacksmith (13 points)
Scores taken from 8 tier lists.

I think this is the best its been in ages

I also agree with every character being overrated. None of them are really at a power level that's really necessary to function on insane mode and have fun through success. Sometimes a stupid hard challenge gets boring when all you want to do is jump in the game hit buttons and have some simple dumb fun.

I honestly agree with you. All characters can do well in the game. It's just easier with some characters.
