How do me and my friend get more money?

We're at either volcano land (The boss that has a sock puppet weirdly) or industrial castle, we just got access to sandwiches. How do we progress? We get absolutely destroyed, we can'tr even get to the boss of Industrial Castle at all and we can't afford any more potions.

Lava world and Industrial Castle are 2 nasty levels because of the strong fireballs and saws. You can get some money by Killing the Barbarian boss and exp for killing the trols from troll mom (thieves forest)

In the parts where you can't get by, try this tactic. For an enemy you literally want to destroy it is important to knock them into the air and time your hits until you hit a wall. Then you can shred them against the wall. If they try to gang up on you or your friend remember that the 3rd dimension is your friend in this game and projectiles can't go to a different dimension. I suggest that if you need more money you could try to grind on the Barbarian boss. Another way to not get "absolutely destroyed" is to farm the troll mother right before the deer riding level. For the enemies in Lava Land, fire does not do much damage, so your best bet is Poison element, Ice element, or just hitting them. The skeletons later in that level can be killed easily by doing the air shredding I described. The sock dragon's left hand (not the sock one) can be climbed by hitting and mashing strong attack and you can chain hit the head without getting hit. The industrial castle enemies are very weak against bombs and arrows. If you can get a crit on them they almost die instantly. When the big guy later on in the level drops the bird you do not want it for the boss since it does nothing to buff you or to attack. The robot hand can be defeated easily by spamming bombs or arrows. The pillars can save you from obstacles if you are mid-air chain hitting it. BUT the projectile cannons are dangerous to get hit by. I suggest to take it slow and time your hits right so you don't touch the red floor. Once you do both of those levels you can move on to the boat. If you need anymore tips you can pm me

As far as money is concerned, what I usually do is go and fight the barbarian boss. He has that giant chest that gives you quite a bit of gold. Do that a few times and you should get a substantial amount of gold.

I second what the others have said in regards to getting XP, as it has worked tiem and time again.
