Audio
The audio for this game only comes out thru my laptop speakers. All my other steam games play thru my monitor/sound system. What settings do i need to change?

Hi!

You will need to change your Audio playback device. You should just need to change the default device to your monitor/sound system. Let me know if this fixes the issue for you!

Yes, it is set as the default. When I connect my blutooth speaker, my other games play thru the bluetooth speaker but not CC. CC is the only game I have an issue with.

Unfortunately Castle Crashers does not currently have bluetooth support. Any wireless devices that use bluetooth (speakers, headphones, controllers) will not be able to work with the title. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is Poppys Dad.

Castle crashers is choosing her lap top speakers as its default play back device, where as all her other games , Steam or not, play thru the selected default speakers.

Is there any other settings where I can change this?

If you're default playback device is a wireless bluetooth device Castle Crashers will not be able to play audio. Castle Crashers currently does not have any support for bluetooth devices of any kind. But if you have a non-Bluetooth device you should be able to connect the device by making it your default playback device in your audio settings.

Forget about the her mentioning bluetooth.

The monitor is selected as the default playback device. All games play thru the monitor except for castle crashers. Castle crashers plays through the laptop speakers.

Why is castle crashers choosing to bypass the default settings? This is what I want to fix.

Try disabling the lap top speakers to see if Castle Crashers plays through the monitor. You can do this by right-clicking on the lap top speakers in the Sound window and selecting disable. Also, Realtek Digital Output can cause some issues with audio playback. Try disabling that as well.

If none of the above worked you can get more in-depth assistance from our support system by submitting a ticket here:

Hope this helps.
