InSamnity 2 mod

Hello. I want to know if there is a way to make InSamnity 2 mod work on Steam verion of Serious Sam 2 ?

Technically, that should be straightforward as the Steam version is practically identical to the CD version, with the only difference being that the CD-check DRM was removed.

I downloaded the mod instaled it correctly but when I enter it it goes black screen for 1 sec then back to desktop.

it does work on the steam version. What i did was extract the Insamnity Mod to a folder separatly. then copy all content of that folder and put it directly inside Serious Sam 2 Content folder which is located here on SS2 Steam default directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\serious sam 2\Content

Then to run the mod. I double click on InSamnity2Launcher.exe which is located here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\serious sam 2\Content\InSamnity2\Updater

There seems to be an issue with the installer, but you can install the mod manually by using this zip file instead.

Just extract it to the steam/steamapps/common/serious sam 2 folder, create a shortcut to steam/steamapps/common/serious sam 2/Content/InSamnity2/Updater/InSamnity2Launcher.exe,
and you should be good to go.

Thanks alot mate! Much appreciate the help, now if I can only figure out what is worng with Serious Sam HD and 3's Leaderboards problem I would be happy.

How do you get it to work, i have been trying for ages to get it to work.

yh i tried that so many times before writing my comment with no luck :D, got it to work though from installing ss2 outside program files, worked like a charm.

what version did you use ? I used the archived one since the intaler one did not work for me in any way.

If you install the game outside program files and just in the c drive then it does not matter which version you use installer or archived works.

So after you install it in C you then move it in Serious Sam 2 directory ?
