Local Splitscreen co-op possible?

I enjoyed playing Serious Sam 3 with my nephew using 2 controllers, but would rather play this game, It is rather disappointing they forgot to implemement Local Co-op in Serious Sam HD Collection, Xbox 360 versions as it,, so the code must be exist in the game for it, but i do want Splitscreen in Serious Sam 2.

It's not in this game because it runs on an older version of Serious Engine 2.0 that didn't have this support. Split screen was existing in 1.0, but was not included in the complete engine rewrite for 2.0. It was later added in 3.5 (for Serious Sam 3).
We are now re-releasing updated Sam HD versions on latest engine that support split screen.
For Sam 2, there's no version in the works that would support split-screen at the moment, unfortunately. But it is not excluded as a possibility at a later time.
