What is the most op character?

Ive been trying to figure out which character is the best. In my opinion Genji is almost flawless and I think hes the best, but does anyone know if there is an actual best character?

I don't consider there to be a "best" character because every chracter has their counter character(s). To me though, the only character that i would consider pretty close to op is leon. In my opinion, being able to do more than 50 damage with one main attack is way too much and should be a little nerfed but, unfortunatly every time an update comes out, pretty much no significant changes to leon. People say the 1.15 update nerfed leon a lot, but it really didnt, it was only a little bit and it makes nearly no difference as far as i have experienced.

If some people are confused on how he does 50+ damage with one attack im pretty sure its damage, backstab, critical, surprise party mask (or whatever it's called) at the same time. I know he would only be able to get over 50 on that one attack but still, opening a fight with a 50 damage main attack is ridiculous.

Leon starts good buts drops off HORRIBLY as the game goes on. In fact I think he's the worst late game character in the game. He's useful in the first half of the game where you can wait cloaked until you spot a weakened enemy to ambush and kill.

After that though, with enough upgrades, almost any character in the game can take him in a 1on1 fight. Your burst isn't enough to knock them out and they'll just burst your measely health or CC you to death. This isn't even counting the fact that ranged/tank/sustain/push characters get exponentially better the later into the game you get.

Oh yeah, then there's AI station. You might as well gg if you get that map after picking Leon.

iv always known Leon 2 be OP since i first started playing but i was never sure if it was his ridiculous power or people being reckless and letting him jump them at low health when they leave the fight to get some heals. i guess he's just an easy character to play effectively cause of people making it easy.

i also play Genji and i got 2 say the only OP thing about him is the electrical storm and im expecting that 2 get nerffed any day soon. everything is pretty balanced iv got to admit :)

in my opinion,the only true OP character is leon. he's just as strong with a skilled player behind the controls as with a new player,making him consistently an nuisance,without alot of effort on the player's part. granted alot of characters can be annoying when played well as is the case with the afformentioned genji,however his cocoon takes some insight into the situation to pull of as well as a steady aim. and similar things are going on with most other characters,except leon since even though he is a melee character,his sprite size and hp hardly reflects this,making hard countering him early to mid game near-impossible. seriously if i do manage to capture leon,he can just stealth off with a nick of health.

I say Leon isn't OP. A noob plays him horribly and he's horrible, and almost 3 nauts literally are designed as Leon killers/neutralizers.
Genji is really OP, and the new nerf was barely enough to make him playable against. He still has more DPS than almost any other character and has OP defensive abilities with his shield.

All characters can be OP, if upgraded right; Stun-whirl Froggy, stunlock Skol with throw, DPS Voltar, Hyper snipe Rea. But currently, Genji is the most OP, due to his high flexiblity no matter what, making it difficult to counter him. Even without upgrades, he can stop and heal off someone chasing him, and heal himself for a large chunk with his sheild, making him difficult ot kill, even with stun. As it stands, only stun and throw Skol can coutner him.

@Katalyst; They nerfed him recently? When was this? 'cuz I see no difference in how he works. I can still get cocooned while behind him :/

I think they most OP char not be the most powerful, but the one that can counter the most, in the easiest way.
And so i'd say froggy.
Froggy can be dangerous from the start. and not really lose much power at any point in the game.
Some of the upgrades takes away any weakness he might have.

Yeah it is true Genji is powerful in late game, Maybe even call him a one man army.
But honestly, if you are a even somewhat decent player, he is worthless at the start (unless he gets great teamwork. (in which case it is w/e since that goes to all chars)

Sure leon Can get 50strike attack, but that means he needs to be speced into it, also he needs to use his stealth ability. Where others (yuri,vinnie,clunk,rae etc.) go a 50attack in it self as an ability. Not to mention, late game you will destory him.

(also it is funny, i never hear anyone complain about Derpl cat cannon spec, which can EASY out dps a leon with auto attacks)

Crowd control characters(with damage) are the best. Froggy(Tornado, Splash dash), Voltar (Healbot), Gnaw (Acid Spit,Weedling), Skolldir(Earthquake,Mighty Throw, Rubber Ducky Choker [STUN]), Genji(Prefab cocoons[The Exploding Cocoon], Storm Drum, Hidden Leaves).

Froggy can practically walk around the lvl without being afraid unless he gets silence first.

Hes the best character bar none. Shoulder bash goes through anything and the tornado move deals insane amount of damage pair up with a Leon practically anyone whos near both is dead.

I think the problem is how certain characters are counter to each other. If the match has started and your team cant do anything with what they have been dealt... the best thing to do is to quit and reroll a character.

I may have forgotten Vinnie with his silence abilities.
