support your team with weedlings, don't try to be a clunk tank.

this is a team game, don't focus on your k/d.

I think that splitspit should buy first...

How good is your friend?, if hes in a much higher league then your going to get matched with people from his leauge which could be why your getting owned xD

I main with Gnaw and I get both skills at the beginning then start to level up spit. Spit is great to harass people with. Hide your weedlings in the bushes to ambush enemies running away. Also, do not rush in with Gnaw, stay back and shoot spit to weaken and when your enemy's life is near 50% you can rush in and try to apply enough poison to kill them as they run away behind the turret. Good Luck!

I use piggy bank, boots and free pills for utility, more damage, faster attack speed and more direct damage for bite. When I start, I get the pills and piggy bank and both skills. The rest really depends on how I feel like playing at that moment.

Sometimes I level up spit first and go for kills(damage, range and slow/something else)
Sometimes I feel like playing defensively and level up my weedlings(hp regen, more max hp and double shot)
Sometimes I just feel like pushing and spamming weedlings all over the place(damage, double shot and less parts)

It really depends on your playstyle, figure out whatever fits it best.

It depends on your playstyle, as ninja smokes suggested. And there are some pretty neat tricks too. Like how you can farm Health in jungles using weedlings and how you can distract turrets with weedlings.

Piggy Bank, Weedlings, no other upgrade, game starts, eat as much neutral creatures as possible, they give health and solar, hide your weedlings, pop them AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN, and when you reach 295 you buy the flexneck, and then pop weedlings all the time. Alway get ready to pop 2 weedling in front of a turret when your droid are near, it will do lots of damage. Then proceed and upgrade weedlings as much as you can. I like to have corrosive spores and overgrowth so they deal LOTS of damage and I can create them real fast.

With this strategy you usually rack up a real good amount of solar and keep the enemy on the defense all the time. So don't forget, keep the pressure on the enemy but don't go and kill yourself, let those weedlings die instead.
I use both don't really rely too much on either one, spamming weedling is best in the beginning, overgroth, fertilizer and double shot, spit is cooldown, slow and DoT, bite is lifesteam, rate, and dental braces, solar tree, boots, and max health

I only recently discovered Gnaw and find that he is workable in a surprising amount of situations. As a force on his own, usually the tactic Jeanmou employs is pretty strong, as he can hold his own and terrifying opponents by bunkering down with his Weedlings and Spit-shining anyone who comes along.

I honestly prefer Gnaw for defensive measures though. I often purchase his Weedling abilities as quickly as possible and first. Putting them infront of turrents or in key spots where Drones will pass, can garner a very quick Solar count. One Weedling in the right spot, fully upgraded with Bigger Health, Two Shots and Added Damage, is a force to be reckoned with, while two or more can be devastating, especially if spaced out so the enemy is forced to change directions and attacks to take just one out (Staggered over a popular area, can snatch quick kills and do lots of damage during a cluster♥♥♥♥, try to pick the spots you notice the two sides are battling in often).

I aim for his Boots and Solar Tree as quickly as possible for the escape plan, when things goto hell and try not to stray too far from catapult pads, Turrents or simply avoid being isolated.

Gnaw is also a Turrent slayer with the Defensive build. Sneak onto a lower or upper level with him and a couple of drones and 2 weeds stored, preferable with a health ball overhead if you can manage it (or one weedling in the jungles, sniping criters for health). Drop the two podlings just infront of the Drones as they wander up to the turrent. They eat some of the turrent hits, before the drones take over, giving the drones a little extra life as they start in on the turrent.

Dig in yourself once the First drone goes half health and back off when you are at a quarter (a few quick bites every so often to help things along) Save your spit if you have it upgraded, for when enemies come along (I like the slow option for this to ensure a quick escape).

The Turrent can lose a solid half of it's life very quickly to fully upgraded Weedlings, a pair of drones and yourself. Turrents are quarter health don't even require the drones present.

Just make sure the majority of the other team is busy with your team mates and maybe a weedling sitting on a Turrent to support them.

Retreat often and support your allies by creating Areas of Safety or Artillery Support with your Weedlings, to help kill counts where necessary.

That's about all I can think of at this juncture. Hope it helps.

thanks for all the comments :D i am practicing in bot matches for a bit now with the builds and strategies you guys gave me and Jeanmou's style kinda fits me aswell (i did like a 5/0 in 4 minutes xD) i dont think its very wise to play offence with Gnaw(which is usually the thing i do) and maybe thats why i suck(ed) so hard xD
use your wedling as your defence, hide them some wher, then drag some one to your wedling a nd you and them will kill them,
