DRM Free Edition

Hello there, i came looking for hel.
Back in the day.... Awesomenauts was part of a Humble bundle, bought it and stuff.
Thing is, it came with a DRM free version of the game. Is it possible for that version to play with people who have it on steam? Or is It just an offline version?

You get a steam key with humble bundle, just put that in and you get the steam version.

Not sure about the stand alone download, best bet is just to give it a try I guess. But it is a lot easier to just put the code into steam and play it through that.

It's probably not possible. For instance, you get disconnected from the game if you are disconnected from Steam, even if your internet connection itself were just fine.

DRM free edition? it's completely offline. probably because it's the version that can be cracked and such.

The DRM free version is several months behind update-wise 1.12(b), to be precise. It only supports offline practice mode.
