Awesomenauts Lobby Browser for the Beta 3.2.8

Hello there,

I did not want to wait in empty queues anymore so I decided to create a lobby browser for the current awesomenauts version. In this list you can find a list of all joinable nauts lobbies including playercount and a joinlink.

Removed the playerlist due to concerns of people getting sniped / avoided. Also made the design a little more appealing

Did some updates. It will fetch a new lobby list every 10 seconds, update the playercount for each lobby every second. Next stop is a custom game browser so you can host & find players for custom games again. That's pretty hard without a globalchat atm.

A tutorial was a added to the "How to play Awesomenauts Online after shutdown" guide by Malk. (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3036589709)

Any open lobby with players in it will be listed. Click the join link, it will bring you to a pre-match screen where you can click "Ready" once more & get placed into the char selection screen of the selected lobby.

While TECHNICALLY the pre-match screen allows you to invite other players, I did not test if it actually works...or if its only possible to use the lobby browser to soloqueue.

I could imagine that if you invite your friends in the pre-match screen, you will not be placed in the original lobby (from the joinlink) but create a new empty one and therefor land in an empty room.

The lobby browser today doesn't update active lobbies, only shows three old lobbies. The time in "First seen in xxx seconds ago" doesn't update either. Anyone got the same issue?

its been bugged right now the same way you describe it and it feels like i cant even play this game without it, at least not even half the rate.

Hey guys, sorry, I did a stupid mistake yesterday. I restarted the program and it worked fine. I just still had it linked to my ssh connection and when I went to sleep & turned off my pc... the server went to sleep aswell :( It's back up now!

By the way, yesterday I started working on a discord bot that will provide chat / voice channels for each lobby. Not sure if it will be accepted & used by people, but the possibility will be there. Just wanna try making my own discord bot for fun.

I'm not sure about the details yet, I would like to create one channel for each team, but the lobbydata does not provide me with infos about who's in team red/blue so we'll see if it leads anywhere
