How do I skip the Tutorial

That doesn't seem to be possible.

This is a brand-new tutorial; it has got to be an oversight.

Because up until now, skipping the tutorial had always been an option.

It's unskippable on purpose. So that scrubs at least have a rough idea how to play the game right. If you know how to play, the tutorial should be quick for you.

IIRC, the tutorial was sometimes skippable and other times not. Like, they forced it on hapless players -- got vitriol trolled -- made it skippable -- decided to sneak it back in -- took it out... and so on.

Though, I could be wrong...

Some people who had the game still don't know how to play. I'm not really against it also it's not that long.

It should at least be skippable for people that owned the game beforehand, I've played this game for like 50 hours and have all the characters, it's kind of stupid that I have to go through a 15 minute tutorial of stuff that I already know. You're made to play a first tutorial segment, two bot matches, and then forces you into an online game. Very irritating

I have 175 hours played and just fired the game up for the first time in a couple of months. This unskippable tutorial is a disgrace and total lack of faith on the playerbase by the devs.
Just horrible design choise, I hope someone got fired for this.

Yeah you think in this day and age people would actually put in a SKIP button on tutorials and not just be lucky if they decided to do that. If newbies skip it, their fault for being that stupid and not learning.

Though that can easily be fixed, to stop newbies who skipped tutorial ruining actual matches, let them be forced to play VS bots game at least once and win before able to join actual VS players

I just wanted to play a custom offline botmatch while my internet connection was gone. That was not possible.. wouldn't let me play unless I had connection.. severely irritating, but not an unlivable disaster. Just hope they wont force it more times in the future.

Still haven't finished it, played something else instead, hope my progression ain't wiped. :)

I've dropped this game, after it went "alway online".

I have older builds, and just play those if I want to... which isn't often (at all, practically).

The game used to be fun -- mods, updates, easy 'plug n' play' functionality... But they killed this franchise with greed.
