Are perfect scores possible on all levels?
I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, so I like to go beyond the normal 100% requirements for the levels and try to get perfect scores on them. (All orbs collected, all waves traced perfectly, no damage, etc.) So far, I've done this for all of Pluto and for Neptune up to Neptune 6. I'm on Neptune 7 now, and I'm starting to get worried. Near the beginning of the level, there is a formation of concentric, rotating circles made from red, blue, and green orbs. I have no idea on how to get all of the orbs in that pattern. It seems that the developers didn't intend for you to collect all the orbs in that pattern, because you can still get a "Super" rating on that part even if you leave plenty of orbs uncollected in that pattern. So, my question is: Is it possible to get a perfect score on that level? Furthermore, is it possible to get perfect scores on all levels? I'd really like to know, because I don't want to waste my time attempting perfect scores on levels if it turns out to be impossible. Thanks!

You can't collect all of the rotating orbs, just drop it. The stage has a lower 100% requirement for a reason.

By the way, don't always touch the next multiplier that you come across either, sometimes (depending on the stage) it's better to hold onto the previous one and upgrade it later down the road for even more points.

Alright, I guess I'll stop going for perfect scores now. It was fun for the levels I'd already completed, though. :)

And yeah, I've thought about whether skipping multipliers would be more effective. For all the levels I've come across so far it seemed that collecting all of them led to a higher score, but I'll have to watch out for that in the future. Thanks!

Np. Neptune has a terrible difficulty spike, if you 100% all of it then you'll feel the next few worlds are somewhat easier.

That world gives a wrong impression of how the rest of the game will look like.

Dude, you're going about it in the wrong way. Neptune is only the fourth easiest. Do it in this order: Pluto - Uranus - Eris - Neptune, and then do the rest in order

Not really, three people have it 100% in around 150 hours

I assume you rely on Astats info. Make that 4, and in 60 :dealwithit:
I don't recommend anyone to 100% this game though, requires a great amount of dedication.

Hi,

I'm trying to reach the highest score possible for each level and post the games on youtube.

I exsmined this issue in-depth and uploaded videos of perfect runs :
Some levels you can do a perfect score (All of Pluto), and for some you can't collect all (like the circles).
I failed to have a perfect run on :Neptune 3,6,7,9 and Phoebe.
I'm still working to improve on Phoebe.
Neptune 9 was my thesis..

On many levels you need to ignore certain color multipliers to have a bigger score.
So, the "perfect game" may have a low score if you don't miss the right ones..
Usually, I tend to get into my humanity obstacle and just miss a few orbs.
On Pluto I didn't miss a thing.

My videos :

Neptune : http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc8S_U1H0SqF05qyfX67WYxVa4OxDC-BT

Please help my thread on the scoring system!! :)
Booga.
