Year 6, Love Hurts, Gryffindor crest piece is stuck

I repair the first case, build the second case, then clean the third case - and then everytime the crest piece gets stuck INSIDE the case. I've tried waiting, I've tried hitting it with every spell type, but it won't. come. out!!!

Has this happened to anyone else, and is there a fix?

Just had it happened. I used Arthur to repair the item beside it, then tried to cast into the final case from the left, and it awarded me the crest from within.
