Help with Glich with snake puzzle

The first several snake puzzled worked fine, but when I got to "Dobby" the symbols show up as white instead of colored. I found the correct color code on line and tried to do it, but nothing works. I can't get past this room without it. How do I fix this?

Only a character who can talk to snakes will show up the coloured symbols, everyone else just gets white/grey.

Ron can talk to these in free play. other wise it is just Harry, tom and Voldermort. (the puzzles change each time)
