Cutscenes pixelated and low res.

So, i´m playing this on my notebook, i know it´s not the greatest device to play games, even more in this game, wich is high demanding.

Either way, i´m playing this on 1366x768, DX9, Shadows on normal and Anti Aliasing on normal, everything else is on the highest settings.

Ok, the game runs fine, about 40-50 FPS in average, plays very well on my computer, but when the cutscenes pops up... Everything goes to ♥♥♥♥♥!

It´s not those annoying filters flashing all of the time i´m talking about, the game resolution just looks like it drops to 800x600.... Everything is pixelated, just bad on the eyes...

And sometimes, when the cutscene merges with gameplay, at the end, the actual game stays pixelated for a while...

I don´t know if it´s one of those annoying filters that, in my opinion, ruined a big part of the game experience... Or it´s just a bug...

Anyone experiencing this? Any possible fix?

I mean... for a game that in it´s big part, consists of cutscenes, kinda of a gamebreaker to me if they look like sh*t.

Again, another terrible job porting this to PC Rocksar... and here i thought we learned something from GTA IV.

This comment is almost insulting, i´m using 320.49, the latest nvidia driver. Tried downgrading to 320.18, problem persists, tweaked setting on nvidia control panel... problem persists....

Problem solved.

For the ones having this issue, if you leave the Aspect Ratio on automatic, this comes up, if you setup the aspect ration to your native configuration, ie. 16:9 or 16:10, this won´t happen.

Again, another thread complaining about something that is easily fixed by going into options... and here I thought people would have given their posts some thought before bashing a developer for no reason.

This game isn't a port. It was developed alongside the console versions and optimized for a broad range of specs. The fact that you are running it high settings with good FPS on a notebook should have been enough proof for you.

I'm sure all these posts here really encourage Rockstar to continue releasing quality PC games though. That's why GTAV is coming to PC this September.

So you are telling me Rockstar did a good job with LA Noire and GTA IV on the PC?

I wouldn´t bash the company if my money weren´t spent on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ products. Even if the issue can be fixed by going to the options, it shouldn´t exist, period. If you are happy with mediocrity, good for you.

2020 and it's still a problem, have looked everywhere for a fix but nothing. Any of you guys know a fix that works now?

You have to start the game, alt tab then run the exe and magic, game looks normal now

May I ask why you searched for a 7 year old thread, and made it pop up on the main screen? For a future reference, if you see an old thread that's been inactive for years. Don't comment on it... if you need help just make your own thread. It's not hard.

Thank you, but I have a question did you use it? Because it says that this mode is showing as cheatengine in the task bar and i really afraid of getting vac ban.
