Blue Screen of Death

I was playing online all fine and one guy shot me in the back the game crashed then the screen went black then my computer just caused a blue screen? Anybody else had this on this game?

PC specs

CPU: INTEL CORE i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 8GB RAM
MOBO: ASROCK Z77 EXTREME 6
GPU: ATI RADEON 7850 CORE EDITON 1GB

Can't really say because i haven't played it since that day it happend

i have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a blue screen here and there when gaming in the past (not max payne, but other games). I updated the bios and that seemed to fix it. You should get some sort of error message with the blue screen in which you can google to figure out what's wrong.

OP update your drivers/mobo, everything to latest and most stable, if you had a bsod then its not the game at fault, its normally hardware, or a bad driver, what error message was given? e.g memory mismanagement or service exception??
Maybe you are overclocking and got a unstable oc?
Or perhaps your PSU is dying, as when ingame you get killed, as everyone knows, it cuts to a screen showing your killer, that will hit your gfx card, maybe your rig needs a clean out for dust and stuff, anyways hope you dont get it again lol
