Chapter 6 bug

The game crashes at the beginning of chapter 6
A guy is consoling his brother, who is the head of the family
Then the screen freezes and audio continues for a while longer
And then nothing
When I restart, I get taken back to the end of chapter 5

Same here, does'nt matter if I kill everyone cept girl. Unable to progress any further..

redo the end of chapter 5 - when video for chapter 6 starts playing keep pressing skip - this brings up message "still loading" - worked for me

Hey Jakob.R, i had a similar issue later on in the game where it would freeze at the same spot. My issue had something to do with how many CPU cores MP3 uses. If you have a quad core, while MP3 is running, bring up your task manager and set MP3's affinity to just 2 cores. That fixed the problem for me. It did not hurt performance in any way.

I have tried reducing the CPU affinity to two cores, and it proceeded further into the cut scene (almost to the end), but hung after the security alarm goes off and Max tells the secretary to get down behind the desk.

This seems to be a recent bug, because I've played the game right through several times before without any problem.

I ran Verify Integrity of Game Cache and that solved the problem

just lower the graphic card settings, then you will be able to get through. You may adjust the setting back to high res after getting through that part.
