Max payne 3 driver unresponsive?

So I recently bought max Payne 3 on Steam as I'm a very new member to the pc community and I adored this game and fancied a bash. So I apologize if I'm a complete noob and don't understand anything pc related haha. Anyway whenever I play max Payne 3 for any amount of time - could be 10 minutes or an hour, it seems to freeze with a black screen and then desktops me with an error message - "the drivers are unresponsive"

Any ideas on how to fix this people? I've messed around with all the graphical settings and the problem still occurs. Really annoying when I'm trying to stream it to my YouTube.

i encountered that once and i fixed it just by restarting my pc

after that, i never saw that pop-up again

How would i go about updating my drivers? Haha... Im very new to this...
and ive restarted it and the problem still occurs :/

Hmm do you know what brand graphics card you have?
Nvidia or AMD?
Well anyway, here's a tutorial for Nvidia:

And for AMD:
It's basically go to the AMD site, drivers + support, AMD GPU Drivers and download and install. Simple.

Just make sure you know exactly what model is your graphics card.
For that you can click right on My Computer ---> Properties ----> On the left side of the screen click "Device Manager" ----> Display Adapters ---> You should have 2, Intel and AMD or Intel and Nvidia, hell maybe AMD and AMD or AMD and Nvidia.
It's better if you post back and tell me what you have at Display Adapters.

i only have AMD Radeon (TMD) R9 380 series

And get the auto detect thing, just to be on the safe side. It's the easiest way for a begginer.
