Max Payne 3 or L.A. Noire

I know they're two totally different games, but if you've played both, which would you say is more worth your time?

LA Noire is considered my all-time favourite open world game from Rockstar Games. Give it a try.
Max Payne 3 tbh is still great. It's a story of a psychopath gone insane. Multiplayer was fun as I remembered.
Just buy both.

Vastly prefer Max Payne 3. LA Noire isn't really a game. It's more of a detective simulator.

If I were you I would get both, one is a nice break from the other. But I personally prefer Max Payne 3, for it is Legend.

L.A. Noire has a much better story imho. I liked the first two MP games, especially 2, but 3 was very underwhelming. Granted, L.A. Noire can be tedious at times, but so can MP3 with the constant shooting (if you're not a fan of that kind of thing). I think Cole was a much more relatable character than Max, and I liked Cole's story of redemption. Plus I love any games that take place around 20s-50s. Max's story in 3 was nauseatingly depressing with no real redeeming qualities. I know it's noir, but I just didn't find the narrative terribly interesting tbh.

LA Noire hands down. the story, the gameplay, open world. max payne 3 is but a shadow of what it used to be. Coming from someone who own and played both throughfully , i would never recommend this game , not even to my worst enemy.

L.A. Noire is tedious and uninteresting. I'd much rather watch film noir. Max Payne 3 is great.
