Does anyone know how people cheat at the leaderboards?

I'm curious. How did people like 16Bitt get such ridiculously high scores in every level?

Well... just guessing... but I imagine that a feasible way to do it would be to use an external debugger/cheater/trainer software to add a big multiplier to the variable that gets added to the score. That or just looking for the score variable in memory and fix it to a ridiculously huge value.

Problem is that the game does not check the result against maximum theoretical values in order to avoid validating those scores in the leaderboards. Maybe Rockstar doesn't care anymore in a game well beyond its expected life cycle.

Another possibility could be using some kind of glitch/exploit but, in this case, it should be easy to find youtube videos of it and so far I have not find any.

nope it´s simpler, there is a file in the game files that says the game how much points you get for a kill, headshot bodyshot car explosions etc. they can simply enter a high number and play

And the really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing is that he's ranked 193. So I wonder how much of the leaderboards are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I ranked 646 in chapter XIII yesterday. I wish I knew how high I'm supposed to REALLY be.
