U got the message, and get butned, the onl thing left you to do is sop being a c/unt and play like real man...
Well u have to go to your settings and change the aim assist to free look and then go search for matches, change the aim assist to soft lock and go again look for online matches, for shots i'll tell you almost everyone is playing with aim assist on, the game isolates the players with aim assist, it wouldn't be fair if free aim players woulb be up against aim assisted ones don't you think?
I play in Soft Lock servers because no one plays Free Aim. It's sad Rockstar decided to make it the default in a series that didn't have auto-aim before.
They mostly did that because it came to the consoles too
MP3 dont have a COD o BF dumb control. MP3 got a lot of buttons needed to press continuosly.
Change weapon
Shoot
Crouch/prone
Shoot Dodge
Melee
Sprint/climb
Reload
Cover
Activate PowerUps
Pain Killers
Drop weapon/quick turn
Aim over left/right shoulder
Move
And probably im missing something ...
This game is far away better with gamepad, and FREE AIM + Gamepad = SH/T.
Grab your gamepad and stop crying :P because theyll dont stop.
I got played since launch and ever was the same. Relax and enjoy :D
So, you're fully aware of all the handicaps a gamepad entails, but at the same time you take a really hard stance on aim assist... That doesn't make sense to me.
Unless this game features aim assist for k&m as well, in which case I'd agree it shouldn't exist.
I also completed GTA V with free aim, and also played online in the same mode. Max Payne 3 was the reason I first thought of checking whether there was aim assist in GTA, both being from Rockstar and all.
And of course I've also done MP3 multiplayer in both lobbies and performed just slightly worse in free aim (I grant you that having played soft lock before makes free aim even more difficult to get accustomed to).
So when I stand by aim assist for gamepads, I'm not thinking only about myself and what I can do, but more in general. I make a choice to play with a gamepad because I find it more comfortable and I prefer to play on a giant screen, but many others can only game with a pad for one reason or the other.
There are so few people playing this game, I just can't see the point of creating these divisions between players.
Though functional, gamepad aiming is indeed slower and less precise, and this handicap is compounded by slower shooting and ackward weapon change. Everyone is free to play with whatever challenge they feel like in single player, in multiplayer it's best to have things as balanced as possible.
I tried the hard lock in one story chapter just to see how it was, and there indeed it's basically LT + RT = kill. But with soft lock, as in multiplayer, far from that.
At the end of day, it just levels the playing field somewhat and if anything k&m users still have the edge against aim-assisted padders.
It's ♥♥♥♥.
Rockstar is the only developer that does this. No one complains about Uncharted or Call of Duty or Halo not having auto-aim. If those games can attract millions of players, then I don't see why a pure shooter like Max Payne 3 needs it. Auto-aim is the reason many stop playing the multiplayer.
