Playing with a gamepad?

Is there any way to play this with a gamepad? I have a wired microsoft controller with the downloaded software. I have used this gamepad for other steam titles and emulators but am wondering if anyone has been able to play this game with one, and if so how?

This program basically maps keyboard button presses to your gamepad. It won't handle as well as games with native controller support since you lose out on sensitivity levels on the joystick and triggers but it should get the job done fine for games made specifically for keyboards.

what the hell you walking about? 1st time i played fable was on the classic xbox work just fine for me

The XBOX version is different, Fable TLC is one of the few games that was optimised for keyboard and mouse when it was ported, which is why XPadder is necessary.

I noticed you still can't walk in the PC version even with xpadder. That was literally the only reason I wanted it. Depressing. It does work though. Personally, I think you're better off with a keyboard and mouse.

I dont understand how to use this, that download only has the profile is that all it needs or do I need to do the other side the controler icon myslef? as after downloading that thats all I got.

I use "Joy To Key" it's free* and it works perfectly. Note that if you use a modern Xinput controller (xbox 360 as well as all new ones) you won't be able to use the triggers/rudders, but that's a MicroSoft issue, not Joy To Key.
