This program basically maps keyboard button presses to your gamepad. It won't handle as well as games with native controller support since you lose out on sensitivity levels on the joystick and triggers but it should get the job done fine for games made specifically for keyboards.
I downloaded it, but I have no idea what to do with it. Can you explain?
I thought that was pretty thorough, check it out and post back here if you have any questions
The XBOX version is different, Fable TLC is one of the few games that was optimised for keyboard and mouse when it was ported, which is why XPadder is necessary.
You can get it here: http://joytokey.net/en/
* Technically, it's shareware ($7.00), but you can download and use it for free. You only pay if you think it's worth it.
