I've never did play the first Fable game. I played a bit of Fable 2 and I owned Fable 3 on Xbox. I can't wait to play this game without mod but, I would also like to know if mods are available for after I play through it. Thanks
I know that there is a tatoo editing system inclued with the retail version as I owned it before buying it on steam.
That's really cool. It's so much different than Fable 3. I enjoyed it but put it down after about 10 or 15 hours, but I don't think I'll be putting TLC down anytime soon though.
if you can mode the original game you can mod the steam version by adding the mod to Steam, Steam apps, common, Fable tlc.

I found it the game easy enough and short enough that I didn't really see the need for mods but also enough fun that I couldn't resist the steam price to play some more.

here is the best I know of for TLC mods http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/
Nice, thanks! I haven't noticed how short it is at this point in time because instead of progressing through the story I ended up taking a trek through the woods. I'm back in Bowerstone now though, so I'm going to start on the missions again.
I also have delayed finishing up this time through to play around in the game for awhile and make it last longer - the archaeologist is saved so I don't want to hurry my way to the ending
I just got the archaeologist quest card. I guess that's an indication for how far you are from the ending.
many people call the archaeologist the hardest quest of the game. it did take me three tries to complete - and yeah after this "the end is near" so I start taking it slowly and having fun in the game - get married a couple more times and build up more money
remembering the mods are in the fmp formate which is unusual:

Installing mods requires the Fable Explorer application. Current version is Beta 4.1 and can be found on FableTLCMod.com

To install mods using it, you hit File, Load Fable Mod Package, then browse to the directory the applicable FMP files are in and install one. You can't install multiple ones at once, but that's no big deal unless you want to install dozens of them.

Finally, you go to Actions, then Save Mods and Run Fable.

@iowastate Well I tried doing that but I have this problem were when I press ''save mods and run fable'' it does not open fable, it just stays there with a that msg that says ''Press Ok when you have closed fable''. It also opons up this security thing were it asks me to swipe my finger over this finger swiper I have. But nothing happens :/. And no I have not uninstalled Fable explorer but I'm thinking about it.
the explanaition if from the website and that is the only place I know of that curreently does TLC mods and uses the .fmp format for modding so they are the place to go for help.
of course this game was on XP when they started but it has been played on both vista and Windows 7 for quite some time now also
'random koment'
in fact I have played and am playing a few XP games on my Windows 7 with no trouble or adjustments to my PC required yet. The only problems I encountered is when I hit a game that was made specifically for 32 bit and I have 64
Fable TLC must get mods! The game is definitely good enough to have many people make some really cool mods. :health:
