Jack's Mask

Sup guys, I just finished the game and had the choice of wearingr or to destroying Jack of Blades Mask, so ... what are the benefits of wearing it? I played the entire game as a evil character.

And as a question of lore, a thing that really bothers me, if the hero wear the mask ... is he possessed by jack of blades? Will I play with jack the blades? No more hero?

There are no benefits from deciding to wear the mask, aside from it being treated like a hat item, your spouse (if married) commenting on how she likes it, and Jack himself commenting on how you kept a journal (he thinks it's cute and pathetic).

The Hero is possessed by Jack and...yeah, that's pretty much it. Nothing else happens.

I believe canonically, you save the world and rid it (temporarily or not can be argued) of Jack of Blades by chucking his mask into lava and destroying the Sword of Aeons.

Well it does make you fully evil.. and you can't take it off..so uhm.. yeah..
