Fable - The Lost Chapters

Fable, Fable 2, or Fable 3?
I say Fable 2 because it's longer, has better graphics and gameplay, and it has DLC. What do you guys think?

I liked the first 2. Loved 2 on the 360, though I never got the DLC sadly. I played through 3 a little, but it just seemed too shallow and lacking, compared to the earlier titles and the menus (or lack of) weren't the greatest (first game's menu's look like Windows 98 boxes though).
All of them have their pros and cons, good things and bad things. It's a shame Lionhead made the 2nd game a 360 exclusive, and never ported it to PC.
I know! Fable 2 is such a good game. Maybe they made it xbox 360 exclusive to make more money? Dunno.

Unfortunately, I found out about the Fable Series too late to get the PC version of Fable 3, and could only find Fable the Lost Chapters on PC (the steam version.) I absolutely love the Lost Chapters, and would have liked to be able to play the PC version of Fable 3. (I don't have the means to buy the Xbox 360 just to play Fable 2 and Fable 3.)

Who knows why they didn't port Fable 2 to PC.

I was lucky to get Fable III just before they removed it. I just wish they would have put Fable II on Steam.

If you ever get a xbox 360 you should definately get Fable II because it is awesome.

I absolutely love Fable - The Lost Chapters, but I think my favorite is Fable II. If Fable III hadn't been so easy to beat, wasn't so short (quick to beat), and wasn't as buggy as it is then it would have probably been my favorite.

Yeah, I have xbox 360 and I had it since launch. Funny thing is is that I STILL don't have all the items and DLC that Fable 2 has. It's amazing that you can spend years on this masterpiece and still have a lot to do.

Fable is definitely the best, in my opinion. The atmosphere is great, and it's writing and general gameplay is fun. Fable 2 improved a lot, namely the social interaction with NPCs, and adding jobs and other fun stuff. The combat is needlessly simplified, and the ending was really lackluster. Fable 3, in my opinion, completely ♥♥♥♥ on the emotion wheel from 2, which was a huge improvement from one. Also the story was dumb and it had some really cool, albeit poorly implemented, gameplay elements (evolving weapons, spell weaving). Also ♥♥♥♥ sanctuary. So imo, Fable TLC>fable 2>fable 3

Fable as the main quest took itself somewhat seriously, and kept most of the silly bits for side-quests. Fable 2 is fine, but It's where I feel the seriers started downhill. Fable 3 is a disgrace to gaming itself and all copies should be destroyed.

I played the original Fable years before either of the others came out, and both of the sequels were huge dissapointments. My biggest complaint is that there was literally no challenge in the sequels. In Fable 2, all you were asked to do was kill ♥♥♥♥ while being practically invincible, because even if you do take damage, it heals fully in seconds; add spellcasting into the mix and you became literally unkillable. Fable 3 had the same problem combat-wise, but also had the annoying addition of having to grind for hours for almost anything.

I've been waiting 11 years for a sequel to Fable, and all we got was that crap.
