and I don't mean the Lost Chapters route, before that when you beat Jack of Blades the first time around? Only way I could think of is doing this speedrun-strat where you clip underneath the map but I'm not sure how to do it. Oh and is that sword the best in the game or no?

Are you referring to the Sword of Aeons? If so, kill Theresa with it. It’s the evil route, but you keep the sword. Alternatively, you can do a side quest in TLC part to get a statistically identical sword called Avo’s Tear if you spare her and destroy the Sword of Aeons.

From the sounds of it the "Solus Greatsword" is the strongest.

there is a way to keep both the sword of aeons and avo's tear. it requires a hero save and moving files around this video shows how to do the aeons glitch in it as well (it's very very easy just takes placement. try to have your summoning halfway in the stairs) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4xTD2oboKY&t=247s

I have audio but I sadly do not have any tips as to how to fix it. Though if I had to suggest something I'd try verifying files, un-installing the game and re-installing, see if your virus software is acting up which could very well be the case in some circumstances as some software like Avast as an example will outright mess with a file it deems as a "risk".

I wish and hope for the best for you when it come's to this issue, really sad too because the music is still god-tier till this day :(

Yes, those steps, uninstalled the game, turned off antivirus, plus typed compatibility on windows search bar and open "Run Programs From Previous versions" and ran Fable, selecting it from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fable The Lost Chapters/fable" ,Windows XP latest pack, once playing the game, press "esc" button, went to audio options and played with the three sound options bars,increasing a decreasing them and clicking apply at bottom left, then pressed the window symbol key on keyboard and clicked "This solved the Problem" on the "Run Programs From Previous versions" app.

No, you really helped me start the process of uninstalling it, I was going crazy changing all the options and nothing worked until I uninstalled it.

Avo's Tear is a great sword, make no mistake. For me, I make a point of getting the Cutlass Bluetane before I ever start the trader escort through Dark Wood mission. The Cutlass, is a legendary tier sword, that you can get early game. It's found in the demon door in the Hob Cave area. He says "I need to see your combat multiplier get higher before I'll let you through." It's really not hard, you turn on your physical shield, smack some hobs in the cave for a while. Come back out (remember, the mutliplier drops half its points every time you move to a new location) Smack the hobs outside the cave, or the troll if you're to that point. Talk the door, once you've gotten the multiplier to 14 or above.

I had a master longsword, and the Cutlass still added about 30+ damage above it. It's a fantastic sword to carry with you while you're still pretty weak. Eventually, the Harbinger is the next milestone, and then Avo's tear for me.

Also, I just looked at the date on this thread and saw how old it was. Sorry to resurrect an old convo. lol
