Aerocache of the Day

What's going on, Kitty? How often are they being changed? I thought it was once a day at 1PM Mountain, but that obviously isn't the case: it was a new one on the Iditarod Trail when I checked it a few hours ago (and have now missed, apparently), but I checked it again just now and it's a repeat from earlier, Havard Glacier, expiring at 12PM Mountain tomorrow.

When we programmed the AotD for today, there was an error, and the time it was set to expire was incorrectly set (my fault!), but not to worry, you'll be able to collect the Iditarod cache next week when it goes permanent!

How long before we can collect previous AOTDs that we missed? I appreciate the effort that goes into creating new ones (and, admittedly, I'm not missing that many anyway), but maybe you could unlock all the Aerocaches of the Day at once for a few days or a week, similar to what happened last spring? Or maybe run them on 12 hour cycles instead, with 1 new one and 1 repeat? I'm missing most of the first batch of the Alaska aerocaches from July-August, and except for Cone Island they've never been repeated.

On Fridays we have begun rotating through ALL the AotD todate that are not currently permanent :)

Any reason why not? It's been done before. Also, has the Curvature Of The Earth aercache finally been taken down?

Is there a new aerocache that isn't available yet? I see that the count is now at 286, but today's is a repeat. I thought I was only short 21, not 22...
