Where do you find the product key for a steam game??

Here are some steps to take if you run into this issue:
1. Close down Flight
2. Re-launch the game
3. Attempt to sign-in again
If there is a 5x5 key already entered into the product key window, just clickI accept and then the Submit button. This should log you in. If that still does not give you a valid product key, do the following to manually retrieve a key:
1. Go to http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Microsoft-Flight/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8044d5308d2
2. Click the Buy Game FREE button
3. Select Confirm Purchase (this is a free transaction and won’t cost anything)
4. Open up the Games for Windows Marketplace Client on your PC (found under Start-> All programs -> Games for Windows Marketplace)
5. Sign into the Marketplace Client with your GFWL / Xbox LIVE account
6. Click the Downloads tab
7. Click Microsoft Flight from the list
8. Click View Game Keys
9. Copy the LIVE Access Code
10. Open Flight
11. Sign-in again
12. If still asked for a Product Code, enter the LIVE Access Code you copied in step 9
13. Click I accept and Submit

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. We're looking into an issue with the link vanishing from the website. I made a thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/203850/discussions/0/882962139109446489/ that I will update when it is resolved. i had the same problem, but got it to work!
1. Log out of your account < MSF.
2. Open https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1351014969&rver=6.1.6206.0&wp=LBI&wreply=https:%2F%2Fmicrosoftflight.com%2Fen-us%2Fhome%2F&lc=1033&id=281927
3. Log in to your account
4. open the game again and remember to remove the "save info"
5. Play!

It's still not working for me. I'm getting a message that says that my code has been registered to another profile, whether it's the code that comes automatically when I log in, or the code I get going through the GFWL store.

i have downloaded microsoft fly but it asks if i have a cd key.

i always thought it was free.
