Can't start the game - confusion about controls on Steam Deck

Greetings,

i've played this game multiple times in the past and i'm just so happy that Linux / Steam Deck support was added!

Sadly, i seem to be unable to play it. (It's been some time since i played it the last time)

I tried to play it on my Steam Deck yesterday. Installation and Starting worked fine. I could start a new game from menu and talk to Olgied and Ulfgierd. I picked up the hammer... but i'm unable to use the hammer, the scene were you smash the pot with magic does not start.

Is this a bug or am i missing something with the controls?

Hey, there should be a full tutorial with the controller inputs explained ingame.
Please check your compatibilty settings on your steam deck - you maybe not using the native linux build.
Without a successful steam deck verification the default compatibility setting is proton.
We passed this check around the date you created this entry - so maybe you got the proton version.
But I think the proton version should work anyway. You can also check if you maybe set the custom controller layout for this game earlier - so you maybe have to revert this.

Same here. Pressing Y does nothing. Any solution or idea?

I reinstalled the game and started a new game - and when the game asks if i want the "comfort features" i said yes this time.

I was able to get through the first scene and can now play the game :-)
