Stuck in the fog

I completed the impossible tasks from the fairy queen and then I went into the fog. I tried to go into the fairy gate, but suddenly I can't interact anymore.
I can look at everything, but I can not even try to talk to the plant and I can't go through the fairy gate, so I'm stuck. (my left mousebutton works, I can walk with it - but not interact...)

Anyone out there with the same problem? And if yes, what did you do to fix it?

Unfortunately not. I also tried to install a savefile from Daedalic, but I couldn't even find the savegame file on my computer.

I think I will just start the game again from the beginning and be prepared to save before entering the fog.
