Horde mode is NOT co-op. If co-op is defined by playing together than all multiplayer games need to have the tag. If it's just playing against the AI then all games with skirmish modes would have this.
Either they need to add a campaign co-op or simply not award the co-op tag to games with just skirmish and horde modes at all.
Thanks for the warnign OP - was almost about to buy it.
Valve has gotten very shady lately, though, so they're not going to change the store page if it means losing a couple bucks.
Definition
A co-op game is a game where two or more players work together to accomplish a goal against AI opponents. Ideally the game will feature a strong story in which both players take part of. Co-Op can be online over the internet, offline on the same console, or via a LAN or Wireless Network. We do not consider team based games as co-op where players face off against another team of human players.
That means, a horde game is a co-op game since it's humans vs AI, and the game's description no where said campaing co-op, so you bought a game without knowledge of it.
And if you say "but the website didn't say it", take the TF2 description for example, it does not say anything about co-op, but there are multiple ways to play co-op, be it MvM or just a humans + AI vs AI.
Next time, I suggest that you search over the internet websites about it, Co-Optimus is a good choice, or just Google it. You are in the information era, so just for information if you can before taking any action at all.
