NEED HELP!!! Game starting error

Anyone got any ideas why every time I start Binary Domain I get an error as following:

"Graphics device invalid, please run the configuration tool."

I tried to run the config tool and changed some things around but the game still doesn't seem to start.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for wanting to help but I've solved the problem by simply deleting the game config file. The game runs fine now, but again, thanks for your time : )

I am getting the same error and it started right after this latest update.. I played the game
ALL THE WAY THROUGH on this machine!! WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO TO THE GAME?

I am running an AMD 965 3.4ghz processor, 4 gigs of DDR, an nVidia 660 2gb PCIe video card, and SB Audigy 4 sound card. I have the latest drivers for everything as of last month

This is why I am so agrivated over STEAM ignoring my choice to set my games to the Do

bloody rediculas for anyone, like myself, who DOES NOT play online multiplayer games!
We, singleplayer game players, DO NOT need to have updates to keep up with the files
used on multiplayer servers! Why screw up our singleplayer games with multiplayer game
content that has no use in our game play? And risking screwing up our saved games!! In
fact. I just found that several recent updates on STEAM not only screwed up many of my
saved games.. Some of them actually DELETED MY SAVED GAMES!!!

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DO NOT WANT MY GAMES UPDATED!

I tired the trick of deleting the game config file.. DID NOT WORK! I am STILL getting that stupid "Graphics device invalid, please run the configuration tool." error message!

And I KNOW it's NOT!

Ok Cra0kalo.. I tried the new link.. Internet Explorer could not open the site or download the file. I tried with Chrome and it downloaded in a blink.. Keep your fingers crossed.. I am reading the txt file and getting ready to give it a try. I will let you know what results I get. Thanks!

Here is what I got Cra0kalo, When I launched it the scanner found the game installation but reported that it could not find a verification of installation file of some kind. It told me to uninstall the game and reinstall or if I chose to force game start and bypass the error I could expect the game to crash. I have uninstalled the game and am now in the process or reinstalling it. I at least was able to find my save game file and save them out of the folder to put back in once it will launch and play again. So.. Keep the fingers crossed but not so tightly.. I will return once it has completed the install and I find out if I can launch the game without your tool or if I have to launch it using your tool. We will see soon! Thanks again.

Ok.. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game DID NOT fix the problem. Now I will try forcing the game with your tool.. Be back soon.

Well.. After all this the game is still NO GO.. The error message I am getting is as follows:

Binary Domain was located at d:/XXXXXX/steam/steamapps/common/Binary Domain and yet there is no install info for it. Remove and reinstall the game please, if you know 100% it's installed then run this program with -forcerun to bypass this error. Program will now crash.

After this message 5 times now and it not forcing with the -forcerun added to it. I am at a total
loss. The game absolutely will not launch and run due to these errors.
