Anybody knows the proper Xbox360 Controller Mapping?
The title says it all. I can't understand how the screen says to me "A to select, B to return" and I have to press X to select and god knows what to go back. And that also goes with the In-Game prompts. I still haven't played this, hoping they would fix it. But it looks like it still the same...

You need to configure it with the launcher, there's an option for the game to show you the Xbox button mapping ingame.

You need to change this 2 option on your game launcher (mine its in spanish but you shouldnt have problems to understand it :P)

For that yyou have to se the Input Display Icons to Xbox controller, under the input configuration tab.

Thanks, I'll try to copy that configuration, and see if it finally lines up.

This is the configuration as it's supposed to be:

<controllers xbox_sensitivity="4" num="1">
<Pad_0 guid="fd001689-0000-0000-0000-504944564944" sensitivity="4">
<INPUT_A index_id="0" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_B index_id="1" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_X index_id="2" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_Y index_id="3" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_UP index_id="1" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_DOWN index_id="1" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_LEFT index_id="0" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_RIGHT index_id="0" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_START index_id="7" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_SELECT index_id="6" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_LB index_id="4" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_RB index_id="5" type_id="5" />
<INPUT_LT index_id="2" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_RT index_id="2" type_id="1" />
<INPUT_RUP index_id="1" type_id="2" />
<INPUT_RDOWN index_id="1" type_id="2" />
<INPUT_RLEFT index_id="0" type_id="2" />
<INPUT_RRIGHT index_id="0" type_id="2" />
<INPUT_DUP index_id="0" type_id="4" />
<INPUT_DDOWN index_id="18000" type_id="4" />
<INPUT_DLEFT index_id="27000" type_id="4" />
<INPUT_DRIGHT index_id="9000" type_id="4" />
</Pad_0>
</controllers>

That goes in the UserCFG file. One small detail, the Shoot and Aim buttons are supposed to be on the Z axis. And is not working on my controller. Maybe it's because is a Razer Onza? I think I'll just WASD it...

Oh its right there underneath the keyboard remmaping menu , i kept looking for it on the X 360 controller menu , THANKS for pointing that out guys.

Did your Z Axis worked for aiming and shooting?

Yea it works just like it does on other games. Maybe you should check wether your drivers are 32 bit or 64 bit and also dont run other x 360 key re mapping softwares in the background

I downloaded the driver from Microsoft's page. But nothing. I kinda giving up on this subject.

I have verified the fix for the LT/RT not working on wired/tp controllers - fix is, unplug the controller and replug while in-game - after that the buttons will work, unfortunately you have to do this each time you relaunch the game.

Thanks!

I had the same issues above. If your xbox360 controller works normally with other games then you shouldn't need to reconfigure in the setup launcher (except for invert axes and sensivity. Once the game has started up, simply unplug and reconnect the controller via usb while the game is running and the correct mapping should work once reconnected. BTW, this is for a wired controller.

It's been some time but... any luck?

This game was sitting in my library for quite some time. Looks fun but I'm having a real hard time with the control mapping. I using a generic Xbox 360 wired controller. I have the same issue as the user above: used the config file in his message but the RT e LT inputs don't respond.
b_blender Feb 9, 2013 @ 12:03am
Yeah man, unpluggin the controller and replugging in-game worked for me. Any luck with that?

Not really. Funnily enough, the triggers work for like 0.5 seconds if you unplug and replug the control while holding them. God knows what's happening.

Got the controller working. Will just leave the answer here in case someone comes with same problem:

If you generic xbox 360 controller triggers don't work, install the official xbox wired controller driver than uninstall the driver for "HID-compliant game controller" under the device manager.
