A solution for the "configuration file not found error"

Have you tried to lanch the configurator, saved the options, and lanched the game again, and it still told you that the configuration file isnt found?

Do those 2 quick steps :

1) Go into your steam folder :
Steam\steamapps\common\Binary Domain

right click on BinaryDomainConfiguration, properties -> compability -> "Run this program as an adminastrator" -> click ok.

2) Go to the configuration options -> "Audio Configuration" section -> and change the "Input Audio Adapter" which is the microphone settings.. I've changed it to None, meaning no micropone, and clicked "Save and Quit". The game has been working after that..

I tried to do as you recommended but after I select 'run as administrator' for the configuration tool, I get a new error message:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application"

So I am still no closer to playing the damn thing....

"The Code Execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem"
I tried reinstalling it. It dosn't work.

I had the same problem as slnthll92: I'm on a 720p screen and the save button in the configuration tool was below the bottom of the screen, so I couldn't click it.

HOWEVER, if you press ALT-Enter to full-screen it, things reposition and the button becomes visible and clickable!

The fix I did was installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

Thanks. For me it wasnt necessary to run it with admin rights changing audio to none was enough
