Is this game really any good???
Hello .... a few years ago I discovered this game when it just came out, I was interested so I tried the demo of this game out BUT .... I hated it ... I couldn't get past the very early part/beginning of the game because of the stupid microphone function (and I don't even have a microphone or bypass that stupid voice command function), and Not only did it not work even after I acquired a mike or bypass that stupid voice command function for the PC steam game, but I couldn't get the settings to work right and not just the visual settings works badly BUT I couldn't customize/change the controllers-keyboard-mouse settings either "Everytime I try to change the controllers-keyboard-mouse settings they revert back to their default settings"!
This game also appeared on two episodes of the AngryJoeShow and Zero Punctuation on YouTube, as proof of this, here's one of the links to em: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuanEzgTKnM

I also noticed that the game only has two dlc's to it, if this is such a good game then why doesn't it have more dlc's ... all in all ... is this game even a good game, and are the glitches to this game even been fixed "especially the controllers-keyboard-mouse settings/customization" glitches???

It's great, one of the best TPS of the last generation, filled with a lot of love for cyberpunk movies and some great robot destruction. Lots of cool bosses too.

You don't have to use a microphone, there's a button you can push if you prefer.

I have this on 360 and I really enjoyed the SP. I found it immensely satisfing shooting off the robots outer casings and limbs. The AI partners weren't annoying, and I don't remember them getting in the way too much. It's also got a nice upgrade system.

As for the controls, using the gamepad was fine. But I can't speak for the mouse/keyboard.

I will say the multiplayer was pretty awful. Mainly because there was a lot of lag, that and there was very little people playing. Almost no one in fact. But I don't know how active the PC online community for this game is.

I do think the game is definately worth the current reduced price.

The controls are some of the worse ive seen. ofc they can be re assigned, however i just wonder if anyone even tested them. the game itself is so fun, liek a mix of gears with irobot. its a great divesrion, and at 3 bucks its a steal. i have seen no glitches.

Don't go into it expecting some amazing and ground breaking shooter.

To paraphrase jim sterling, 'it may not innovate, but it follows really well'.

I would say its worth a sale price. I've seen it on sale a few times, and i'm enjoying it.

Edit: sometimes you will go down and need help. And its a 50/50 chance that they come help you, and they don't.

Have to admit at first I thought it was going to be some generic third person shooter but it turned out to be fun to play.

I agree the controls are awful. I think using a gamepad or xbox 360 controller really helps. The game starts out seemingly very generic but persevere and it gets really good. I ended up really enjoying the story.
