For reference, I'm running Windows 10 with an Intel HD 4000. 10 GB RAM. Running the game on a monitor connected to my laptop. I tried switching to single monitor mode, but it only improved it for a short bit. I'm now back to crashing at every cutscene. Otherwise the game runs smooth.
**EDIT** I just retried and it seems to be completly unwilling to work now. The cutscene when you first meet the weapon scavenger kids refuses to work no matter what. Does anybody know if the multiplayer has similar issues? It would be nice even if there is no fix for now, that I can still crush some robot heads with friends.
I'm having the exact same problem. Windows 10 with Intel Integrated HD 4000, the game runs extremely smooth, no hitching or frame lag, and my laptop isn't overheating. Therefore I doubt its the fault of the graphics card/CPU. Rather, the developer only optimized the game for a certain graphics card/idiotic programming. My game crashed after the intro cutscene, and now when I boot up the game again, it plays okay for the certain section until I enter another in-game/cinematic cutscene, and then crashes at that point.
Awesome job SEGA, really nice to see you guys have a real stellar QA team /s
To do it, start the game and, when in main menu, alt + tab to the desktop, open task manager (ctrl + alt + del), go to "details" tab and search for "BinaryDomain.exe" . When you find it, right click and choose "affinities" on menu. Leave only CPU0 and CPU1 marked in the list, confirm in ok, alt + tab back to the game and be happy.
PS: These config is not permanent, it only will affect the game when you do it. If you close the game and open again, will be neccessary do these steps again (it's a little boring, but better than have a good game wasted for poor support).
It worked for me in my w8.1 notebook with Intel HD and w10 desktop with Radeon R7 until now.
This is far more likely an issue with the game and Windows 10/the Intel HD drivers as I'm running on a Core i7 Sandy Bridge (8 cores with hyper-threading) on Windows 7 and have had no problems in my few hours playing the game, so I doubt that's the issue.
care to share if you have success?
